Community Involvement
As many of you know, Dr. Korpi travels to help people all over the world see better. The pictures below were taken in Bangalore, India where he spent two weeks visiting 15 different communities where the Vision Trust organization has after school programs and provides vision testing on over 900 students and teachers. The Essilor Vision Foundation has generously provided the new glasses for those who needed them! Bangalore, India

This picture is taken at the medical clinic in Gran Bois Haiti. Family Eye Center Muscatine donated this slit lamp microscope that these two Haitian nurses are learning to use. It will help them in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease that they see on a regular basis.
